 Reft and Light was created by Amy Marie, who was born and raised in Japan to a father from Oregon and a Japanese mother. The name symbolizes my second life in Oregon, where I struggled  with the English language and often mix up the sounds of "R" and "L." I create art that blends old and new traditions, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of Hokkaido, Celtic fairy tales, and Buddhist teachings.
